Not sure what this weeks Yoga topic should be! My head is so full of ideas for this, for my clients, for my business and for my home life and family. There are so many things for a busy working mum to find a balance with. Today I have no clue where to start. Do you ever feel like this?
Do you start with the housework? Do you start with your book-keeping? Do you sit down and cry in the corner? Sometimes it’s all a little over-whelming.
But you know what I’m going to say, right?
Now it might seem crazy walking away from that endless list of everything you have to do for a Yoga practice but its not. You are however turning your world on its head. you are getting your priorities right. Looking after yourself so that you can then go on and look after everything else with a fresher, calmer mind.
Its not a cure all, at least not in one session but it makes the difference. The difference between a crazy, chaotic unfocused brain to a calm, focused thought processor. How it does this I am not too sure.
Maybe its the self-care of stopping everything and focusing on yourself and your breathe for 20/40/60minutes.
Maybe its stretching out those muscles allowing you to release tension and toxins from your body. Maybe, if you go to a class, its about joining a group of like minded people all connected by breathe and movement.
Maybe? Maybe? Maybe?….but it works
Sitting looking at the blank screen for 10 minutes this morning, clueless as to what my blog would say even with a lists of ideas in front of me I decided to move forward my practice run for my class tonight. An hour of beautiful slow flow Yoga focusing on deep breathing, twisting and pulling in to find balance and now here I am writing about why everyone should do Yoga….again!
Please don’t just take my word for it…try it.
If you don’t know where to start, start here, with me. Yoga can change your life.
turn your world upside down.
